I tend to be out of the office most of the time, you can normally find me doing staff trainings in store, or presenting the next season’s new products to the store owners. It's kind of fun as I just get to chat about cool product to nice people most of the time. I also manage the sponsored team for both brands, this is a continually growing area, as standards keep on rising. Together the sponsored guys and girls and I do boot demos, slide shows and talks. I suppose the final string to my bow is the marketing.

I'm essentially a climber, and like everything from Grit to Gogarth, and Big Walls to Boulders. What I like most depends on what I'm doing at the time. I also enjoy snow boarding, which is good as Arc'teryx Head Office is just a stones throw from Whistler so I try and make the most of that when I'm supposed to be looking at the next season’s line.

Favourite Arc'teryx Products:

• Sidewinder SV- Just a bomb proof well cut and stylish jacket always chuffed when I go riding in it.
• Theta SK Pants- Again a slightly older model, but a lot like the Sidewinder, I also love the Scorpion Pants, a softer fit and more subtle articulation
• R320 Harness - Really luck to get one of these early, just massively different to everything else out there. Super comfortable for dogging, hanging belays and so slim line that you don't even know you’re wearing it. An amazing piece of design and construction, and knocks the socks of anything that brands can do...

Favourite 5.10 Products:

• Anasazi Velcro- an old favourite, if I only have room for 1 pair of shoes it would have to be these. A classic. I also loved the Pinks, got my Greens to large and am breaking in a new pair of Whites at the moment; I reckon they will be top in a little while
• Dragon- Me and the guys know them as cheating shoes, just the best last on step boards, I also really liked the old V10, and haven’t tried the Jet 7 yet but I reckon they will be equally good.
• Guide Tennie- a bit like the Anasazi Velcro, if I only had 1 outdoor shoe it would be these. I'm psyched to try the Free Runner as I think they will be cool too. My old Stonehenge and brand new Millionaires are cherished and only worn out on special occasions
