Careless Torque - Ned Feehally

Report just in from 5.10 climber Ned Feehally:

I got out on Saturday for the first time in ages and had quite a good day…

After warming up with Ben Morton and doing Brass Monkeys (good effort to the Morton!) we met up with Ryan Pasqual and did Shine On (E7 6C) ground up above pads, he then did Cemetery Waits (also E7 6C) in the same style. We also did a Welford problem called Golden Path just next door which was really good (highball font 7c apparently).

After this we headed over to Silk – an old Dawes E5 6C (which he on sighted in EBs back in the day - hero!!). This went down second go after a quick demo from Ryan. Felt like at least font 7b slab climbing after the boulder problem start, standing on terrible footholds with small pebbles for hands at a slightly worrying height.

Finally I finished off the day by doing Careless Torque (ground up, of course). This was my second session on it after having a quick play last year.
I am really pleased with this as it is the line that I most wanted to do in the peak. Its amazing and has such a good history, being a classic Fawcett route.
Very happy!

Nice one Ned!
